Pekka is a Finnish entrepreneur, businessman and investor who has been involved in the family business in the metal industry for over 30 years. In addition to the work in his companies, he also serves on multiple boards, including The British & Commonwealth Chamber of Commerce in Finland, where he is the Chairman.
Pekka has been involved in international trading activities since the start of his career. He started working as a teenager in Blackstone Finland, which become family company when his father did a management buyout in the early 1990s. The family company, Finnradiator, where Pekka is the Chairman of the Board, is engaged in international business in the heavy automotive sector, and focusing on customers in the Nordics and North Europe. Company’s suppliers are global.
Currently Pekka spends most of his time operationally at Routa Digital, a Finnish software and IT services company with operations in the Nordic region and India. He also allocates time and effort to technology startups in his portfolio.
